Class Overview
This one day, five hour Certification Training Teleconference will focus on pertinent Pathophysiology, anatomy and physiology of the skin. Introduction to the integumentary system and the functions of the skin as well as how to conduct a comprehensive client history, effective skin analysis and create a treatment plan that is right for your client's skin type using the Fitzpatrick system.
Focus will be placed on the different types of Chemical Peels available: Jessner's, MFA's, Vitamin A Acid, Glycolic, Lactic, Salicylic, TCA and others. We will explore ways to bridge the medical and aesthetic fields to promote a soothing, calming, conducive environment for successful treatments.

Trainer Bio: Facial Aesthetics Expert from Southern, California
Dawne Hebert has worked in the Medical Esthetic field for 25 years. She managed a successful plastic surgery practice in Boca Raton, Florida for 10 years in which she was responsible for developing a Medical Spa within the practice. In 1995 she received her Facial Aesthetic license. Since that time she has worked with Plastic Surgeons and Dermatologists performing medical aesthetics and serves as an aesthetic consultant.
Dawne also works for Aesthetic Enhancement Institute instructing doctors and nurses on all aspects of facial aesthetics in their practice. She also offers consultations for development of Medical Spas in existing practices and has authored a Practice Management Manual on setting up a Medical Spas.
